Erkle

I would like to take this moment to tell you all about my childhood hero... Growing up, dad and I had a very strong appreciation for a wonderful child star named Erkle.  Erkle provided us with hours of entertainment and a continuous challange to perfect our Erkle laugh,

"hehehehehehehehehehe `snort `snort did I do that!?"

 Litttle did I know that roughly 15 years later I would encounter and have the privilege of teaching my very own Erkle!!

There is nothing staged or "cheesed" about this picture, this is "Erkle" at his finest.  He is in my "special needs reading class" but should not be; he flies through the assignments I give him with 5X more than I ask for.  Today after completing more than I told him to do 3 or 4 times he finally went out to play (but was back shortly).  While he was gone I caught two little boys quietly "doing their work" with Erkle's paper conveniently visible under their desk.

Dad, I hope this brought as many memories for you as he does for me every day!  Sometimes I look at him and almost expect him to say "hehehehehehehehehehe, `snort, `snort, did I do that?!?"
