Garden Day!
We put up about 18 doz of corn, a big pail of 'patio pickles', and made 14 jars of 'gramdma pickles' today! I love this time of year and it's been so long since I've been home to really help! :)

Mission Trip
I haven't said much about the option of being a missionary this fall because there has been several possibilities that have not worked out. Now, things have come together and for the first time this summer it is promising enough to be working on plane tickets and visas! Many, many prayers have gone into this and it is so exciting to see God leading!
This is the EXACT place where I will be spending about 9 months this school year as a student missionary in Buea, Cameroon, Africa! :)

Wrist Update
Here's a peek at my wrist, when they opened it up I was surprised to find that they went in on the top and bottom, I thought it was only on bottom. I got 1/2 of the 23 staples taken out yesterday and another temporary cast because it's pretty swollen yet.

You know it's been a busy week when...
Sice my last visit to the world wide web (Saturday night
): Chelsea Roberts (Gill) is married, I got to be a bride's maid for the first time, gave a maid of honor speech, played Volleyball with my family and Mary Erickson, Ileah Schmuhl, and Joel Larsen :) , Walked 20+ miles on a wagon train, got a nice sun burn (hopfully a good tan), pulled 40+ ticks off of myself (Not even kidding!!) :( , played some fun "capture the flag", spent the night at Brad and Susie Kahler's house :) , had my first surgery, had bone grafted from my hip (therefore got to ride the motorized cart at Wal-Mart!! :P ) , and am now sitting here with a newly broken wrist that contains a metal plate and 8 screws (which requires my mother dear as a personal typing assistant!) ....it's been a full week and it's not over yet!! God is so good and He's always right beside me!

ASB Spring Banquet ~ Masquerade
Last night was the ASB spring banquet! :) the theme was Masquerade and we decided to take the mask part literally! Aaron and I supported the theme with our surgical masks and accompanied an elderly couple who were sporting their oxygen masks for the theme!! :)
"Mary! look at this old picture!! it must be your grandparents or something, she looks kinda like you!" My pretty flowers! :)
We had a wonderful weekend!! Now it's time to hit the books extra hard this week! I'm looking forward to surviving this week and then the end of school is close in sight. I have about a total of about 40 pages in research papers due this week along with an exam, project, presentation, and several other assignments... but the good news is that most of these assignments are the final "big one" for allot of my classes and then I'll have some time to take a breath for finals!
Hope you all have a great week! God bless!
