Missing Esther

We got to have Esther here with us for the first two week s of the semester, it was so nice to have a good excuse to procrastinate and have TONS of fun!! She went home Friday and we miss her lots! Thanks Esther for all the fun and Sweet gift you left us!! I hope you can come again sometime!

BIG KID Fun!

Well yesterday Mary and Esther left for home :( We had a blast with Esther here and I miss her already! Tonight the ASB event was sledding and skating at a place that also has a huge "adult sized McDonald's jungle gym"! It was GREAT fun! I've always lamented outgrowing the McDonald's play places (and have been know to slouch under the height limit and sneak in when I can!) so tonight was a blast!

Schumachers 2009

Wow, the holidays went so fast and I always meant to post our "Schumachers 2009" picture but never got to it. Here we are well into the new year, wow does time ever fly! Just in case you've been as busy as I have and haven't really stopped to realize how fast this year is getting started..... allow me to wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Friends

I'm back at school and it's been a FAST week!! I got to bring Esther back with me to spend some time with us and check out what Union is like. Yesterday we went shopping and had a great time trying on dresses, we got some groceries and made stroodles and potatoes in our room. Tonight we had a girls outing to "LaPaws" ( a Mexican restaurant ) then we came back to school and watched our Union college warriors play some basketball. After that we played some serious Dutch Blitz and a fun game of Balderdash! It's great having Esther here ( I am enjoying the excuse to have lots of fun ) classes are definantly going to be tougher this semester but it's been a great 1st week!

We made enough stroodles and potatos in my little electric pan to feed 7 of us girls!
